New York City, here I come!
Last week, I got a package from Citigroup with an eleven week job offer. I was hoping to get something from the other companies that I had interviews with before making a final decision to accept the job offer. It seems like Citigroup's offer is the only one so I am proceeding with their offer.
I am not quite sure what I will be doing, but my job is related to product and price analysis. It will be for the Citigroup Corporate Investment Banking group, but if you are aware of the bank, Citibank, you probably already connected my job to that bank.
I am just hoping I still have the job because the job offer letter came with approximately 25 forms for me to fill out, but they wanted the job acceptance letter signed and sent within five days, and I got back from my interview week in Rochester two days after the letter arrived, and I did not have time to review everything before accepting it and the acceptance letter was some where in the middle of the pile of forms and at the very bottom it said the offer expires on the fifth day of the date signed on the job offer letter and I had the acceptance letter sent back 3 days past the due date.
So what does this mean? It means I am currently looking for a place to live in New York City, I am hoping to find something with a reasonable weekly or monthly price near or within Manhattan so I can ditch my car and not have to worry about driving and live with the tube and other public transportation systems.
And this also means I will be once again bidding adieu to Canada, but do not worry I will always remain loyal to Canada and not become an American patriot.
If anyone knows of someone who lives in Manhattan and needs a roommate, let me know.

Awesome bro! I'm about 45 minutes from NYC.
I know there is a small group of deafies in the Manhattan area.
Best thing to do is contact Connie Pucci. She's connected and friends with all them New Yorkers.
Good Luck!
that's so cool. :) now Jeff and I have a reason to visit nyc.
