New RIT ID Card:
Got an email from RIT informing me about the new design for RIT's new ID cards. I wonder if students and faculty will be required to wear their ID card somewhere visible because they are designed vertically.

I dont like it.
The name and the title (student, faculty) are too close together.
The colors are terrible, yes I know they are RIT colors but they suck.
Its verticle...looks like you have to wear it around your neck at all times.
NO WAY the students have to wear it around the neck, probably for faculty.
I got an email that RIT will redesign the whole ID thing because many people didn't like it.... or will add more choice. not sure
Wow, definitely an improvement over the ugly white and light blue/green one.
It doesn't look like something student would design.. would be nice to have design submits maybe from the art dept, there are many creative works among those students.. boy hope they come up with something better for sake of all of us
Unfortunately, that design is final and they will be changing the IDs soon.
I do not like the design, that is why I posted it up to see if any of my readers liked the design, but anyhow I do not think I need to worry about wearing this ID around my neck since I have completed all my courses.
Good luck to my fellow friends who are still studying at RIT, I just give you this advice, make sure your ID necklace does not get stuck on something and causes you to choke to death. :)
