11.11.04

Want to start the day by saying happy eleventh day to 236!

Anyways - yesterday was a very sad day, Yasser Arafat passed away. What does this mean for the
Palestinian people? Will the terrorists (Israel and USA) take advantage of his death to control the Palestinian land? Is it a shame that ignorant America thinks she is not a terrorist country? Those who live in America see others as terrorists and those who live in countries that America attacks sees America as a terrorist, yet America denies that allegation.

All I hope for the
Palestinian people is that Yasser Arafat's death paved a path for Hamas to have leadership in the Palestinian government. Hamas may be seen as an awful organization who pioneered sucide bombings, but what the heck! They are being faced with a threat that outsizes their fighting capacity, this threat is Israel along with America's support and weapons.

Since the uprising against Israel, I have always wondered why the heck is America giving Israel airplanes, bombs and support? What did the
Palestinian people do to not deserve America's support? Is it just because America does not like Arab people? This observation makes sense! In the last 20 years, the United States has bombed Iraq, Iran, Libya, and Syria, America is friends with Saudi Arabia just because they know that if they oppose America, America will just bomb them as if America always had the right to do so.

Anyways - enough of this depressing crap.

Today is technically my very last day of classes for the 20041 quarter. I really need a break from school - doing nine quarters in a row (two more coming up) for a total of eleven quarters is too much for me.

During the thanksgiving break I will probably stay put, and during the goddamn jesus birthday I will be spending a week in Cuba. I wish more friends could join me, but it is a shame that Communist-led America does not allow its citizens to travel to Cuba (so long for the quote "Land of the Free").

Half way through the winter quarter, I might be taking the Wilderness First Responder course in Ithaca with three other women, am not sure how many Hard of Deaf people will be taking the course with us. Then during the summer break, I hope to finaly ride my bike across Canada, starting in the east and ending in the west.

Damn, I'm already looking at the fun plans I have other than school! Me better stop typing before I waste too much time. . .

No, it was not a coincidence that I posted it at 11:11 on the 11th day of the 11th month.

I did it on purpose as a prank on 236.

I did not even know it was Remembrance Day until 238 mentioned it to me.

I guess York Univ. is a jewish school who ignores the soldiers who died to save the jewish people.

Maybe Parliament Hill does not want to do much to remember the soldiers because Canada does not want to be viewed as an 'ignorant War country' alike the country south of Canada's borders who cherish the word ‘war’, ‘death’, ‘violence’, ‘guns’, ‘bombs’ and more ‘weapons’.

why think America will interfere? We believe in peace too. Geesh.

BTW the majority of Cubans are catholics, you'll be seeing a lot of "jesus crap" there. So much for Christmas.

the defination of war is a : a state of hostility, conflict, or antagonism b : a struggle or competition between opposing forces or for a particular end.

i dont see weapons or death in there. Canada has wars too- a very long one- between the french and the english.
Not everyone in America approves of what Bush is doing w/ iraq, but dont label all Americans ignorant.

In respond to lore's comment

"the defination of war is a : a state of hostility, conflict, or antagonism b : a struggle or competition between opposing forces or for a particular end."

It is America who is being hostile - America is instilling conflicts in Iraq, Afghastian (sp), Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Israel, and other unknown countries that even the American citizens do not know about.

America is working on the Star Wars fanasty system, is it really for defense? Since America is the most powerful country on earth, what the fuck does America need defense for? I think the Star Wars things is just the beginning of America's plan to impose its own hostile will against every single country on earth until they agree to become part of America.

Where is Canada's hostile act toward other states?

Think twice...

Ibreakrules - How can each individual contribute ingorance when half of the population didn't vote for Bush? If your purpose is to think one citzen as a country- then that's pretty sad because I don't think of you or others that way - but if Canada ever did something so horrible then i'll say you contributed it. how's that?
