This will be my first time trying stem cuttings other than roses. Let's see how I do with these transplants. If you wonder what type of plant it is, I do not know what it is. Spent. Most of the time walking along the beach looking at stores. Saw a man making woodburning art using a maginfying glass and the sun to do his art. Another guy was selling sewing art, his sewing machine was hooked up to a solar pannel and ran purely on solar power.
We headed back to the hotel and checked out the pool. oneninefivehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10220288197621424197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931237.post-45314129633418430012008-07-25T13:40:00.001-04:002008-07-25T13:40:28.419-04:00California: Day 6Ate breakfast, walked to saloon for Frecklesfly to get her hair trimmed. Stopped at Circuit City to get DVD-RWs and get Frecklesfly then headed to the airport to pick up Buzzair and his wife.
Then went to dine at In Out, they have a limited menu, cheap burgers and fries, probably a lot cheaper than McDonald's! Wonder if they even use unreal meat.

Two hours later, we were busy chomping on our breakfast.
Today we will spend approximately eight hours driving to Los Angeles. At one point we were approximately 2 hours away from Yosmite, wish we had more time to stop by. A sign I probably will visit California again.

Went through Davis and Sacramento and as entering Sacramento, we saw a road sign on US-5o saying Ocean City, MD is 3,o72 miles away!

The weather in San José was very cool and windy, a lot better than 30•C and humidity in Ontario!
San Francisco was foggy and cool - Tallwolf took us for a drive around the city, lots of high grade sloped roads and zigzat road scenery, Italian town, Chinese town.
Then we went to Pier 39, had a nice sourdough bread oneninefivehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10220288197621424197noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931237.post-37741985556826666322008-07-22T12:01:00.001-04:002008-07-22T12:01:32.852-04:00California: Day 1Arrived in San José at 7:14 PST, met Tallwolf and he took us to the hotel.
